Pilot Plant
The site pilot plant is a continuous self-contained unit that matches the operation of the process plant.
Pilot plant capacity is about 50 pounds per hour of polymer product or scale of 1:2400 for the commercial unit.
Pilot Plant
The pilot plant is operated by experienced personnel familiar with plant conditions and required controls to achieve quality results. Polymer product can be evaluated in the plant laboratory.
Laboratory equipment includes two melt indexers, two gas chromatographs, Vicat softening point tester, and a small injection molder for testing polymer materials. Color analysis can be performed on pellets and molded parts.

Deltech Polymers Corporation has developed commercial products using the pilot plant with good results transferring operating conditions to the process equipment.
Specialty polymer products are presently undergoing preliminary testing including products incorporating Deltech Corporation methylstyrene monomers. Inquiries for development or testing of new products are invited
